About Me:

Though born and raised in a rural town in Oregon, I moved to Bend as a young adult and have since spent 20 + years becoming the latest version of myself. I am a mama, a friend, a spouse, a caregiver, and perhaps most importantly, a fellow traveler of this human experience. I fill my cup through art, books, podcasts, travel, live music, and overall connection with others. Through pain, failure, resiliency, hard work, and education, I have developed a deep passion for inclusivity, self-knowing, spirituality, and navigating the everchanging landscape of social justice and civil rights.

Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:

I approach treatment from a Psychobiological lens largely supported by both Attachment and Psychodynamic Theories. My first goal of treatment is to build a relationship with you just as you are. I want to help you in achieving the goals that are important to you. I want to get to know you and your strengths and areas of concern. There is hope of change for anyone who is willing to embrace the hard work of self-knowing.

By developing your self-awareness, taking emotional risks, and practicing healthy vulnerability, we will witness true integration of changes you are making. Through the practice of emotional attunement and unconditional positive regard, my goal as a therapist will be to remind you that you are never alone and that you already have the power inside to tolerate and process overwhelming emotions such as fear, anger, joy, shame, and desperation. While change can happen overnight, sustaining that change becomes our “work” and takes time. Lastly, I want you to know I am transparently committed to my own growth and development as a professional helper, which serves to maximize my capacity to maintain a safe and healthy place while we 'human' together.
