About Me:
A product of transient parents, I have been privileged to live throughout the greater United States, which influenced my younger self to be curious about the world beyond the United States. After exhausting cultural curiosity through work, education, and travel, I am now motivated to idle with family and friends, my dog, saving the fish, finding the perfect swimming hole, music, and cake.
Treatment Orientation & Philosophy:
My early childhood experiences shaped my belief that our tragedies can become our strengths, inspiring my calling to become a social worker from a young age. If early childhood experiences are the foundation of our social and emotional framework, then belonging begins with the notional concept of family and how we learn to make meaning of our lives. The therapeutic space can be the difference in developing communication and connection, necessary to overcome challenges and reclaim control of the life and relationships you deserve.
My professional commitment focuses on the individual’s unique experiences and self-discovery using a generalist approach, which believes you are the specialist in your life. My therapeutic approach is to listen and attune to offer appropriate space, psychoeducation, and modalities (i.e., EMDR, somatic practices, TF-CBT, SFT) fitted to you and where you are in your purposeful story.
